– The AI-338L CIP Bob Sled provides a single shot loading bed or follower to 338 Lapua Mag rifles with a 3.850" Accuracy International (AICS) compatible magazine well. This allows the easy loading and firing of single rounds during competition, benchrest , or varmint shooting. Made from durable, long lasting Delrin® to ensure a lifetime of use, the Bob Sled simply replaces your magazine to allow easy loading of single rounds. The AI-338L CIP Bob Sled works with Long Action magazine wells that accept Accuracy International 3.850" (AI) magazines. (fits Ruger Precision Rifle in 338 Lapua, which is 3.850")
- Some Fitting MAY Be Required – The AI-338L CIP Bob Sled is made to fit AICS mag wells up to 3.850" long. But every once in awhile a customer will call and say it won’t fit or latch in his AICS compatible mag well. I spoke to Bob Hanin about this and he said the little aluminum retainer catch was made a little long to be sure it could fit the wide variety of AICS compatible rifles. So, if your magazine is not latching, you can file just a little bit off the tip of the catch and that will solve the problem.
