Mesa Tactical AR Stock Wrench Bottle Opener (castle nut wrench)

MesaTactical’s AR Stock Wrench Bottle Opener is stamped from 11 gauge ASTMA1011 CS Type B hot-rolled carbon steel alloy, then plated using causticblack oxide operations at 285 to 300 degrees Fahrenheit to produce anattractive military spec MIL-DTL-13924D black iron magnetic coating. Thewords, “MESA TACTICAL COSTA MESA USA” are stamped onto the surface ofthe tool.
How it works
The Mesa Tactical AR Stock Wrench Bottle Opener has two ends:
- A roundy sort of arm with a nub at its point; and
- A loopy bit with a beveled edge.
Touse the AR Stock Wrench Bottle Opener to loosen or tighten a the stocknut on a Mesa Tactical Faro Adapter, Telescoping Stock Adapter or anyAR-15, the nub at the point of the roundy arm is engaged with the squarenotch in the nut, and pressure applied to the tool until the torquethus generated turns the nut.
When, as often seems to occurwithin an hour after working on the stock nut, sometimes sooner, a coolrefreshing bottled beverage is desired, the loopy end of the AR StockWrench Bottle Opener is deployed by the simple expedient of turning thetool around in the hand. One edge of the bottle cap is inserted into theloop and the AR Stock Wrench Bottle Opener pulled up to release the capfrom the bottle.
Reversing the order of operations is notrecommended by Mesa Tactical, and eye protection should be worn at alltimes while employing the AR Stock Wrench Bottle Opener.
