This Aegis Lighweight 16-inch AR-15 .300 Blackout Rifle Upper Build Kit features a 16-inch “Springer” barrel crafted from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel, finished with a phosphate coating for durability. The heavy barrel (HBAR) profile includes a 1:8 twist rate and a pistol-length gas system with a 0.75-inch Recoil Technologies micro low-profile gas block. The muzzle is fitted with an Omega Manufacturing GI Birdcage flash hider, threaded at 5/8×24. The upper receiver is made from 7075-T6 aluminum, anodized for corrosion resistance, while the 6061-T6 aluminum handguard, in sleek black, features a free float design and M-Lok compatibility for versatile accessory attachment.
