The Downpour 20-inch LR-308 Complete Upper Build from Davidson Defense features a robust 17-4 stainless steel barrel measuring 20 inches in length, this upper offers a medium profile and a 1:10 twist rate, optimized for precision shooting. The barrel is finished with a nitride coating for added durability and corrosion resistance and is threaded at 5/8×24. The upper receiver is crafted from forged 7075 aluminum and treated with Type III hardcoat anodization for superior wear resistance. A 9310 alloy steel bolt carrier group complements this build, finished with nitride for enhanced longevity. The lightweight M-Lok handguard, made from 6061-T6 aluminum, offers versatility for attachment of accessories. It includes a GI Birdcage flash hider as the muzzle device and has a rifle-length gas system with a phosphate-finished gas block.
