This Aegis 16-inch Mid-Gas 6mm ARC AR-15 Freefloat M-Lok Handguard Rifle Upper Build Kit from Davidson Defense features a 16-inch barrel made of 4150 CrMoV steel with a government profile, a twist rate of 1:8, and a phosphate finish. This upper receiver is constructed from robust 7075-T6 aluminum, anodized for added protection. The mid-length gas system paired with a 0.750 gas block ensures reliable cycling and precision shooting. It includes a 15-inch freefloat M-Lok handguard providing ample space for attachments and minimizing weight for improved handling. Complemented by an 8620 alloy steel bolt carrier finished with nitride, the kit maintains reliability under various conditions. Completing this build are a Mil-Spec charging handle and AR-15/AR-10 TPI GI Birdcage flash hider.
