This Flat Base Raptor™ is a tipped bullet designed for use in .404 Jeffery and .425 Express rifles. This line is manufactured out of solid brass bar stock on a CNC Swiss style lathe. Instead of mushrooming, these hollow points are designed so that after 1-2" of penetration, 6 blades break off and radiate outward in a start pattern while the base continues on for even deeper penetration. A minimum impact velocity of 1500fps is required for the hollow point to function as intended.
